Description

Differentiation of instruction can be challenging with a wide range of physical development in each of our classes. This course dives into a model that allows us to differentiate with intentionality and effectiveness. Teachers will leave this course with an understanding of the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA) to skill acquisition/motor learning and how it can be best implemented into the day to day of physical education.

Course Instructor Credentials

Former physical education teacher and athletic coach with 10+ years of experience in the public and private sectors. An advocate for physical literacy, athletic development, and a holistic approach in education. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Illinois College in 2010. Then, in 2012 he obtained a Master of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Jones International University, followed by a Masters in Exercise Physiology from Illinois State University in 2017.
